PQ Audits

PQ Audits

We help you analyze your network or facility by conducting Power Quality measurements with highest quality of PQ Analyzers available in the market.

- Power Quality Audit

The analysis serves the investigation of power quality parameters of the connected power supply networks and the elaboration of compensation and filtering measures for the optimal utilization of the network resources. The device fulfills the requirements of Class A as per European Standards EN61000-4-30 (VDE 0847 part 4-30, January 2004), in which test and measurement procedures for the proper evaluation of voltage quality are standardized.

Power Quality Analyzer

PQ Box 300, A. Eberle GmbH & Co. KG
The mobile power quality network analyzer, power meter and transient recorder enables permanent frequency analysis DC up to 170 kHz. The Class A instrument is designed for measurements in low, medium, and high voltage networks and is ideally designed for mobile measurement operation in harsh environments and in very confined spaces. In addition, the device enables an evaluation of the voltage quality for public and industrial networks. The device is thus an indispensable support for analyses in high frequency ranges.

Following measured quantities will be recorded and analyzed as per standards:

⦁ Harmonic Measurements – Recording of both harmonic voltage levels and harmonic currents. (1st-50th harmonic) and assessment according to the EU/IEC standards on power quality. Harmonics of voltages and currents in the frequency range up to the 49.5th inter-harmonic.
⦁ Voltage fluctuations – voltage dip/swell, under/over voltage, voltage unbalance
⦁ Power measurement – Three-phase recording of apparent, active, and reactive power. Recording of minimum value, average value, and maximum value for analysis of dynamic processes.
⦁ Power Factor measurement – Three-phase recording of power factor and displacement factor cos (phi).
⦁ FFT spectrum analysis – FFT spectral analysis of voltages and currents in the frequency range from 2.5 kHz to 170 kHz.
⦁ Commutation notches – Acquisition of extremely fast processes in the network (switching processes, commutations) in selected time windows with a sampling frequency of up to 4 MHz.
⦁ Flicker – Short- and long-term flicker (Pst and Plt).
⦁ Ripple – Selected ripple control signals (TF)
